AMAZING!!! This was a bucket list item for sure and we picked the best company to go with! Rainbow Ryders had the best customer service from the beginning to the end! They were very helpful and answers all of our many questions and concerns before we made our final decisions. Patrick was our pilot and he was awesome! He was very informative, funny, and totally made the trip for our family! It was a beautiful day, so watch the weather before you book because this does make a difference! The nice weather helped us go higher to see the beautiful views! Even higher than any of the other balloon companies, we could see them down below. I was very nervous for myself because of some health issues, but they made me feel very comfortable and the altitude and heights did not bother me at all. The hardest part was climbing inside the basket as a short person but even that was a lot easier than I thought it would be! Here's how it works, you meet at a hotel in CS before sunrise, get in the "chase" 15-passenger van to ride out to the launch site, blow up the balloon ( my daughter got to help and loved it) and set up which takes 10 min, everyone gets in(up to 12 people), they will take your pictures if needed, very smooth launch and you are above the city in no time to see the beautiful sunrise! We could see Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods from overhead, a beautiful ranch area with jack rabbits and huge herds of antelope. Just beautiful! Because the winds are different every day, the landing site is different, so when it's time to land Patrick will guide the crew with the chase van to possible landing sites. The neighbors where we landed were all coming out to see the balloon and waving at us, literally stopping traffic! We shared champaign and juice with the land owners and they were so kind and welcoming! With your ticket you receive drink, pastry, a keepsake glass, and a special toast. The van takes you back to the hotel and you receive a certificate of completion. This was such a great experience! I highly recommend this company and look to see if they still have the groupon price! You will not regret this once in a lifetime opportunity and Colorado is a beautiful place to glide over!

What a wonderful experience we had when we took a hot air balloon ride with Rainbow Ryders out of Colorado Springs! From the meet-up at a nearby hotel, to the prep of the balloon, to the launch, to the ride itself, to the post- flight celebration, a great time was had by all. Awesome, professional, personable pilot and a wonderful group of first-timers to share the experience. If a balloon ride is on your bucket list, you can't go wrong with Rainbow Ryders!

Yes, it's pretty early to get up for in the morning--5:00am. But after some coffee, get ready for an amazing experience! It's early so you can witness the sunrise over the mountains as the balloons fill with air and come to life. Our pilot Craig and his crew--Sean and Randy--gave my girlfriend and me a truly first class experience from start to finish. The basket can fit several people. But we felt like we were there alone! Perfect sunrise. Perfect lift …and a magical ride through the sky. I've always appreciated the beauty of Pikes Peak and the front range, but you've got to experience it at 7000 feet in the air, gazing at the whole panorama! We clocked along at 6-10 miles per hour—perfect speed. Our pilot, Craig was engaging and intelligent with a great sense of humor. And he's quite an experienced pilot--his dad was a pilot as well. He brought us down—flying inches above a field of grass—then swooping up into the sky again. He even got permission from the airport tower to a touch and go on the runway! Afterward, we were treated to some breakfast snacks and a Colorado Sunrise to toast our adventure. It was a thrill for both of us. It was clear Craig, Sean, and Randy love what they do and love sharing the experience.
