This was my second flight with Rainbow Ryders. My first was in Phoenix, AZ. This one out of Colorado Springs was amazing. Must do if you haven't done before (or if you have). The pilot and crew were amazing. Thank you for another great experience..........I just may have to do it again! Maybe from Albuquerque next time. 🍾

My wife and I were spending a few days in Colorado Springs on our summer road trip and we decided on going on a balloon ride with Rainbow Ryders. (We where staying at the Hotel Elegante and that's where they meet at!) We met our chase crew Shawn and Pilot Taylor and another family of four in the lobby at 5am. (yes very early but very worth it)
After using the restroom real quick we loaded up in the van and headed out to find a launch sight. Once we got to the flying area the guys unloaded the basket and had everything set up in no time at all.
The flight was amazing! I have a slight fear of heights and I wasn't bothered at all by floating 1000 feet above the ground. The flight was so smooth, you couldn't feel yourself going up or down. At one point we were at the level of the tree tops and I was messing with my camera and when I looked back up we where way higher! The hour flight went by so fast I wasn't ready to be back on the ground, but when we did the landing was so smooth.
After the flight we had a nice toast and some snacks while Shawn and Taylor packed up the balloon. I can't believe something that big goes into a bag that small. We were back to the hotel around 8:15am just in time to start the rest of our day exploring.
I recommend this to anyone, and if you are thinking about it STOP!!!! Just do it! Thank you Taylor, Shawn and Rainbow Ryders for the great time and the memories.
