We went on this cruise, today. It was rainy and foggy. We loved this cruise, lots of information, and beautiful scenery. It was easy to book, and checkin. The clam chowder, was very good. I would recommend, to anyone who visits Valdez.

It was great. Very efficient check in. Staff very friendly & knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the area. Saw a variety of wildlife, however, didn't see any orcas or humpbacks. This is NOT the company's fault. They have no control of wildlife. Did get to see sea lions, puffins, terns, and many other birds. A light lunch is served. I was surprised N.E. clam chowhad was served. My husband enjoyed it.

If you are in Valdez, Alaska, this is the cruise to take!! Both Captain and Crew Members love their jobs (it shows by their actions towards every passenger... I even asked the Captain if she loved her job: "YES she said, with no hesitation!) Their attention to detail even goes down to our lunch: steaming hot, creamy clam chowder, with a warm bagel, cold cream cheese, and Oreo cookies served right up to your more than comfortable seat with table with a very friendly smile! The Crew even brought us in a chunk of Columbia Glacier to inspect @ our seats! The detailed discussions on every aspect of what we were seeing was outstanding by our Captain, and she ensured that each passenger got a good close up photograph of the many schools of Orca Whales we saw!
