An absolute blast! A must if in Kona. The reef is stunning with abundant fish. The history of the area is fascinating. Recommend Chris and Rory as you guides, they were both knowledgeable and fun.

Initially I wasn’t sure what I had booked. We were told to wait by the bathrooms at the Marina and I thought WTF? Ok. But just go ahead and book it. Captain Chris and first mate Rory were local enough to know what they were doing but never made you feel like you weren’t a part of the crew. You jump into their navy seal boat and ChrisPersonally, I was a fan of captain Chris’ stories and Rory’s jokes (a bit ā€œdadā€ but good enough to get a laugh from even the sourest passenger). Look, this 3 hour boat trip was pretty much the highlight of our time on the big island. We snorkeled around a very sacred Hawaiian spot, saw spinner dolphins, ate pineapple šŸ, cool caves, pele’s sumptuous rock formation, green parrots 🦜 šŸ’Æ recommend !

Great experience. We saw dolphins and a variety of fish at the snorkeling spot. We also got to see some old lava tunes and learn some history. Our guides, Chris and Cole (spell?) took great care of us during the trip. I highly recommend this to anyone seeking a little adventure on the big island.
