A great way to explore Austin with kids (ours were 9 years and 12 years with minimal kayak experience)! Tim and Rives were fun, enthusiastic and patient guides. The route is smooth and is a beautiful way to view the city and see the bats. Highly recommend!

When I booked this tour, it was forecasted to be 70 degrees and by the time the tour came around it was only 55. Luckily I still went because this was a great tour! The effort of kayaking kept me warm (I'm not particularly outdoorsy or athletic) and our guide Travis was really informative and had lots of fun facts about the bats and the Austin skyline, and even took complimentary pictures of each of the groups on our trip so we'd have the memory - a nice extra touch! We got to see plenty of bats even though it wasn't peak season yet. Would definitely recommend this to anyone!
