This was our second visit. The first time, a decade ago, we did not allow enough time - we saw maybe a quarter or a third of the museum. This time we came better prepared. First, in spite of COVID, they were offering some of their glass classes. We (wife and I) had a blast doing the glass-blowing option (which, spoiler alert! due to COVID, is not you really blowing, but using a foot-pedal controlled pneumatic air source - which was great, because the artist helping you in the very personal, one-on-one class, made sure your end product was perfect!). Then, the museum. Wear walking shoes. We took hours to get through - 2.5? 3? And some areas just could not be given the attention they deserved. They also are running (in COVID limited groups) their demos again, which we missed this time. But after having a hands' on personal demo, we felt pretty good about that.

Thank you for visiting us again and for your comprehensive review, Alan! It sounds like you really made the most of your time here at the Museum. You're right, there is so much to see and do, which is why we allow guests to visit two consecutive days with their admission passes to be able to experience all we have to offer. We hope to see you back again soon!

Spent a wonderful Friday afternoon here. Though Covid restrictions are in place as well as a fair number of visitors for an Autumn afternoon there were no problems with distancing and all wore masks. This is truly a world-class museum dedicated to the art of glass as well as some excellent technical presentations along with a brief history of Corning Glass. The offerings include both modern and historical pieces. We had driven by for years before spending a day in Corning. It is a lovely town with an extensive Market street for such a small town. It is evident that Corning is an excellent corporate citizen and respected--deservedly so.
