This is our 2nd time. It was great seeing the guys demonstrating glass blowing. It was cool to see! There was different things to see and always love shopping there.

The museum displays were exhaustive. The galleries and demos did not hold my teenagers' attention. The glassmaking activity was a little absorbing. I guess if they had chosen the more expensive one, it might have been a little more to their level. For an adult, it was better, but tge exhibits were too scientific, and i consider myself to be an intelligent person. The contemporary galleries were much more striking and interesting, but since our day was at an end, I couldn't see much of it. I must say that the gift shop was visually the most absorbing and beautiful, we spent the most time there. They should gear the experience more toward the younger set. Social distancing was fervently enforced throughout, but never in a grating way. There are nice picnic benches outside where we ate lunch against a green backdrop of grass and trees. I would gice this experience 3.5 stars if I could.

Thanks for leaving a review. We are sorry to hear that you felt underwhelmed by your experience. With collections that cover the history, art, and science of glass, we pride ourselves in offering something for everyone to enjoy. It seems like the Contemporary Art + Design Gallery is what peaked your interest and if you had more time to explore, would've been a highlight of the visit for you. Thanks for visiting, we hope to see you again!

My girlfriend has been wanting to go here for awhile and I decided to take a road trip and it was a perfect if not long day. I forgot how big the place is and just the gift shop amazing us with the large variety of glass items. I bough a Corelle cooking dish and a glass unicorn but had my eye on numerous items. The gift shop can take an hour by itself to take in everything. We didn't do any demonstrations but did take in all the galleries. It seems like they have millions of items on display dating back to the earliest glass going back 35 centuries. Egyptian, Roman, Asian, Islamic, English, American, Modern and Comtemporaryare just a few categories. Plus they have some displays on glassmaking and it is just overwhelming. My girlfriend thought it would be better to take 2 days to go through since she was exhausted afterwards. They even had some natural glass (glass formed by nature) which I really enjoyed. Going here is just an amazing adventure with so much to see. There is something for everyone. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
