We are a true Eco Tour company in the state of California using wagons and mules to tour an ancient wilderness. You will have to go to Colorado or Montana in the summer to do something like this. A truly unique western experience. Where can you take a wagon tour pulled by mules into the desert wilderness in the world? No where but here!

We are an authentic and unique desert tour that showcases the natural flora and fauna of the Palm Springs Desert ecosystem. Our live entertainment is professional and very enjoyable. We offer optional dancing lessons, games and great food. The most total inclusive and immersive desert experience in the Coachella Valley. Adventurous, educational, beautiful, unique, fun, delicious, happy, Hallmark Movie is what we have been described on our reviews! The good old days are still here at Covered Wagons!

Paul the naturalist explained parts of the desert to us which was very informative. The rest of the evening was fun and entertaining. The food was very good. Being out under the desert sky was a real treat. The crew at Covered Wagon was outstanding.

Windy but enjoyable evening with 2 covered wagons on our tour. Friendly staff went out of their way to make sure your having a good time. Lots of food at BBQ, plenty to drink and ended night with s'mores which we were to stuffed to try. Great atmosphere and music.

Paul was a great naturalist. We learned about the flora, fauna and history of this beautiful desert while riding in a covered wagon. BBQ was delicious. Entertainment fun to sing along and the barn dance got us to burn off some of those calories. We had the best smores under the stars. Five star, very unique experience.
