Craft Beer Tour in Lower Downtown Denver

Overview
Get out into one of Denver's 300 days of sunshine and head to the Historical Lower Downtown (LoDo) District of Denver. Learn how beer has obtained such a strong foothold in our state and discover for yourself why Denver has earned for itself the nickname "Napa Valley of Craft Beer."  Tours last between 2-3 hours so prepare to hang out with a local beer aficionado and see if you have what it takes to stand up to our beer. During the 4 stops on our tour you will go behind the scenes to learn brewing process, visit a brewpub that began a nationwide franchise, drink in the brewery founded by the governor, and hang out in the best craft beer bar in Denver. Our tour guides drink with the best so ask them any questions you may have. All challenges accepted! Book now to secure your spot; if the tour is full please call our contact phone number to see if we can add you in. Don't miss out on Denver's gateway to craft beer!

My fiance and I like to hit up a local brewery or tour in the different cities we travel too. She's not as big of a fan but knows I like good beer so comes along for the ride. The Microbrew Tour was a fun way to spend a couple afternoon hours. There were about 15-20 people on the tour; the guide encouraged socializing among the group, and everyone was friendly. Our tour started at Rock Bottom Brewery & Restaurant, then Falling Rock Tap House, Wynkoop Brewery, and last was Breckinridge Brewery. We tried about 3 different beers at each stop; a range of different styles. The chile beer at Wynkoop was good! Our guide Ethan was very friendly and would provide some insight on Denver history along the way. He was easy to talk to one on one as well. Overall, I'd recommend the tour, particularly if you wanna try good quality beer.

My husband and our two friends took this tour, our guide was Derek. Derek was great, super energetic and passionate about the brewerys, beer and his job in general, and got better with each brewery, going as far as suggesting places for dinner afterwards. We went to four breweries and there was 2-3 different tastings at each place, some places we had our own area other places we had to stand. All in all, tour was informative, Derek provided some historical info on Denver which was neat, and it was nice to get a chance to walk through the beautiful streets. Our tour went longer than expected, so our group dwindled from about 25 to 8 by the time we ended. We were impressed with 3 breweries we visited, but were disappointed that Rock Bottom was our last stop, as it is a chain restaurant and we were hoping to visit only smaller, unique craft breweries.

Ethan has a polished presentation and enlightens you on some of the history of Denver along with keeping your glass full at the various stops. There are many different styles of beer offered with a total of 10 samples. However, sometimes you can refill if you really like one. Additionally, they give you a coupon for a free pint after the tour.
