Craft Beer Tour in Lower Downtown Denver

Overview
Get out into one of Denver's 300 days of sunshine and head to the Historical Lower Downtown (LoDo) District of Denver. Learn how beer has obtained such a strong foothold in our state and discover for yourself why Denver has earned for itself the nickname "Napa Valley of Craft Beer."  Tours last between 2-3 hours so prepare to hang out with a local beer aficionado and see if you have what it takes to stand up to our beer. During the 4 stops on our tour you will go behind the scenes to learn brewing process, visit a brewpub that began a nationwide franchise, drink in the brewery founded by the governor, and hang out in the best craft beer bar in Denver. Our tour guides drink with the best so ask them any questions you may have. All challenges accepted! Book now to secure your spot; if the tour is full please call our contact phone number to see if we can add you in. Don't miss out on Denver's gateway to craft beer!

My husband and I went on the microbrew tour for his birthday. We stopped at 4 bars, trying 2-3 beers (about a double shots worth) at each location, then finished with a free pint at any location we chose. Along the way, we learned about how beer is made, proper tasting technique, as well as some fun Denver history and trivia. This is a small operation and the tour guide is also the person who started running this tour. We stayed on time yet were able to relax at each location and even got a few extra tastes when there was beer left in the pitcher prior to leaving. Worth the time and cost!

My husband and I took the brewery tour on a sunny Saturday and it was a blast! The weather was perfect, the walk around the city was a great way to experience part of downtown Denver, and our guide was very informed about beer. We could tell that Steve, our guide and the owner of the company, loves what he does! I was wondering what hops looked like and Steve dug a jar of hops out of his bag. He is knowledgeable about how beer is made, what makes a lager a lager, and can answer any of your questions. It was the best thing that we did inside of Denver. Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I had signed up for a 3:00pm tour on a Sunday. Our flight got in late, our rental car pick up was late, etc. We ended up not getting to our hotel until 2:45pm. I contacted Brown Paper and they were able to transfer me to Steve, the tour guide for the tour's, cell phone. He explained where and how long they would be at the first stop, along with the second stop and suggested we meet where we could. We had ordered a pint glass with our tickets and he offered to bring them to the second stop if we didn't make the first one. We couldn't make the first stop and waited at the second - Falling Rock Tap House on Blake Street. The group was just the right size and Steve was extremely knowledgeable and kept things going. At the last stop he offered to buy us some drinks since we didn't get to make the first stop. I didn't realize this was something he came up with himself and was very impressed. We got to hear history on both beers and denver and the tour helped us out a lot for people who had never been there before! We got to try some beers that we may not normally request - and found some we defintiely will be looking for at home! This tour is definitely worth taking two + hours out of your day!
