Craft Beer Tour in Lower Downtown Denver

Overview
Get out into one of Denver's 300 days of sunshine and head to the Historical Lower Downtown (LoDo) District of Denver. Learn how beer has obtained such a strong foothold in our state and discover for yourself why Denver has earned for itself the nickname "Napa Valley of Craft Beer."  Tours last between 2-3 hours so prepare to hang out with a local beer aficionado and see if you have what it takes to stand up to our beer. During the 4 stops on our tour you will go behind the scenes to learn brewing process, visit a brewpub that began a nationwide franchise, drink in the brewery founded by the governor, and hang out in the best craft beer bar in Denver. Our tour guides drink with the best so ask them any questions you may have. All challenges accepted! Book now to secure your spot; if the tour is full please call our contact phone number to see if we can add you in. Don't miss out on Denver's gateway to craft beer!

This tour includes stops at four of downtown Denver's microbreweries and brew pubs. It is a walking tour, and also utilizes the free 16th street mall shuttle to move between two of the stops. The company's owner, Steve, was our tour guide. He shared his thorough knowledge of the brewing process while we enjoyed 2-3 samples of different types of beer at each stop. There were a total of 10 very generous samples. We also had a card where we took notes about each of the beers we tried, which was helpful when we finished the tour and had a coupon for a free pint at any of the establishments we had visited. Steve also told us interesting tales about the history of Denver while we walked from stop to stop. It was great talking to the other people on the tour as well. Since the tour size generally limited to 20, you have a chance to mingle and discuss the merits of the beer, or just get to know someone from another part of the country. I highly recommend this tour to adults - both beer connoisseurs and people like me who just like to meet others while on vacation.

Before I even arrived in Denver, I emailed Steve (founder) with questions about the tour. He responded promptly and was more than accommodating. The tour is a great way to get a feel for downtown Denver while tasting some local brews. Our tour guide was friendly and imformative. My friend and I had a wonderful time. And when I came back to Denver this month, I was so excited to use my free pint coupon at one of the breweries, until I realized I threw it away. Steve came through again! He actually provided me with a replacement coupon and dropped it off at my hotel. Thank you Steve! This is just another reason why I try to support local businesses, even while on vacation...great service and value!

As Jimmy Fallon put it, “thank you microbreweries for making my alcoholism seem like a neat hobby.” Come hang out with other hobbyists and check out some of the great beer made in Denver. This was an awesome tour and one of the best ways to see the city. I was surprised by how much beer we were able to try for the reasonable price. I would recommend starting any vacation to Denver with this tour so that you can get a taste of some places to visit later during your trip. The tour guide is engaging and really knows his beer and we had a great time with the other people on the tour. Everyone will enjoy this tour, whether you’re a home microbrewer yourself or if the only beer you drink is a keg of Key Light at the beer pong table.
