Craft Beer Tour in Lower Downtown Denver

Overview
Get out into one of Denver's 300 days of sunshine and head to the Historical Lower Downtown (LoDo) District of Denver. Learn how beer has obtained such a strong foothold in our state and discover for yourself why Denver has earned for itself the nickname "Napa Valley of Craft Beer."  Tours last between 2-3 hours so prepare to hang out with a local beer aficionado and see if you have what it takes to stand up to our beer. During the 4 stops on our tour you will go behind the scenes to learn brewing process, visit a brewpub that began a nationwide franchise, drink in the brewery founded by the governor, and hang out in the best craft beer bar in Denver. Our tour guides drink with the best so ask them any questions you may have. All challenges accepted! Book now to secure your spot; if the tour is full please call our contact phone number to see if we can add you in. Don't miss out on Denver's gateway to craft beer!

This tour is such a wonderful way to enjoy beer and experience Denver! I first booked a tour for my boyfriend's dad, who is quite the beer connoisseur. He enjoyed it so much that I booked a second tour for my boyfriend and I. Steve, the owner/founder, was our guide. He was very personable, interesting and knowledgeable. I learned a great deal about beer and some history of Denver and its breweries that I wasn't aware of, even after living here for 5 years. I highly recommend the Denver Microbrew Tour to both locals and visitors.

I very much enjoyed the Denver Microbrew Tour. From our knowledgeable guide, the wide variety of beers to taste, and learning about the history of Denver, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves beer! I found the price to be extremely reasonable for the fun afternoon! This is a great choice for someone who has never been to Denver or someone who has lived there for years, there is always something new to experience!

Took the tour last year, with Steve as the guide. It's laid back, it's a little informal, and it's a great introduction to the city of Denver. Our group was a little over a dozen people, which gave a lot of opportunity to get to know each other, compare notes, and talk about beer. Steve did a great job of creating a sense of place and making the buildings and the companies matter. But it was the group as a whole that really put it over the top. We would walk to the next place, sit around a couple of tables, and taste some beer. We'd talk about our favorite styles of beer, our favorite beers from our home region, and what we thought of the beer in front of us. Then we would go to the next place and do it again, but with a different combination of people than last time. Four stops is the perfect amount of walking (and tasting...there was a good amount of alcohol involved). I ended up having lunch with some of the tour members at the last stop, which was a good place to cash in our free pint. In all, it was the best introduction to the city of Denver. Over the next week, I met more people and drank more beer and walked all over downtown a hundred times. All of it was a little more familiar after Steve's tour.
