Overview

We are the ORIGINAL haunted pub crawl tour of Savannah's famed Historic District, operating nightly since 1996. Our home base is the famous Six Pence Pub, a notoriously haunted English-themed bar right in the middle of downtown Savannah. Our professional storyteller-guides have decades of combined experience sharing compelling tales of eerie happenings and ghost lore in Savannah. Our walk covers about 1.5 miles of Savannah's gloriously beautiful (and terribly haunted!) sidewalks and squares. As it is legal to drink on the street in Savannah, we breeze through a handful of sometimes-quirky, sometimes-historic bars for walking beverages. Note: drinks ARE NOT included in admission. Only guests 21+ may participate, making this an ADULTS-ONLY ghost tour! Please be advised that tour guests will be carded at entry to bars. The 21+ policy is strictly enforced. You must have unexpired photo ID with you on the tour.

You will hear tales of local spirit activity at a variety of these locations while you take in the eerie beauty of Savannah after dark.

Pamela, our guide, was wonderful. She was enthusiastic, charismatic, and knowledgeable. The creepy crawl was a fun night. We stopped at a few bars and learned some of the history and ghost stories of Savannah.

This was our third time taking tour and is our last. The experience on these tours depends on the group and the guide, mostly the guide. Our first time was phenom, the second was average, this time not so much. 6 stops, four pubs counting the meeting place. Pretty clear there was some connection between the pub staff and our guide. He never connected with the group, I overheard someone say he was repeating stories from a haunted Savannah guide. His profanity added nothing. If you've never been to Savannah or taken a tour this would be ok, but make sure you calibrate your expectations.

Hi mkeha, thank you for giving us several chances to impress! It's certainly regrettable that we only succeeded once. I do wish you had contacted me directly to receive a refund before taking to review platforms, but we appreciate the feedback nonetheless. It sounds as if there was a lack of rapport between your guide and his guests that evening. Sometimes personalities just don't mesh. We employ several guides who all bring different qualities to the table and it's clear you should have been with another of our professional storytellers. Our guides do indeed have relationships with bar staff. We see them a lot and work alongside them. However, the bars we feature on our tour offer no sponsorship except for the Six Pence, where we begin. Perhaps your guide was too engaged with bartenders to the detriment of his relationships with tour guests, and if that's the case we apologize. Regarding the "repetition" of stories from another guide...all of our guides draw from personal experience, oral history, and a variety of written materials regarding Savannah ghost lore. There is no script being followed. But you may find that guides tell stories similarly, because we have all had rather similar experiences in these haunted places. As our Creepy Crawl is 21+, and generally pretty rowdy after a couple bar stops, our guides do tend to use colorful language and many of us cuss. I will remind guides to know their audiences and not overdo it. Thanks so much for taking 3 tours with us and for this helpful feedback. This was a fun tour. We got to learn a lot of history from our guide Pierce. Plus I enjoyed walking around a savannah.
