Overview

On this scenic 8 hour private Sonoma and Napa wine country tour we will visit 2-3 wineries which we’ll help you pick based on your personal preferences. Our professional driver/guide will pick you up in a luxury sedan from your hotel in San Francisco and start the tour heading north towards the Golden Gate Bridge (option for a group photo from the bridge vista point). After driving along Marin county we will reach Sonoma Valley Wine Country. Along the way you will enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the wine country, rolling hills, colorful vineyards and many picturesque wineries. From Sonoma we will drive into Napa Valley through the historic highways and towns of Napa Valley and the Napa Wine Strip. During the scenic route our professional and knowledgeable driver/guide will share stories and local knowledge about the Wine Country’s history, terroir as well as wine growing & making. You will have an option for lunch stop on the or food pairings with your tasting .

We had a great time on our wine tour with Barak, from booking and setting up the wineries we wanted to attend Barak was very helpful laying out the schedule and recommending restaurants and wineries that we were looking for. Barak was on time and provided bottled water for our whole day in a nice comfortable vehicle. We also went through some cool areas of San Francisco on the way to Napa that Barak showed us that we wouldn't have seen without the tour. Barak has lots of knowledge of Napa/Sonoma regions and San Francisco itself as a resident. We had a great time chatting about Napa and learning its history and the reason it produces so much wine. Barak will also help take photos through out the day and even made a video of our time at the wineries! I would highly recommend Barak for a private custom tour to get the most out of your time in Napa/Sonoma!

We recently had the pleasure of enjoying a wine tour coordinated by Barak Haiby while visiting San Francisco during a west coast cruise. Barak was awesome and the whole experience was an absolute delight. He helped us work out all the details and coordinate the schedule for the day to maximize our enjoyment, helping us choose wineries based on our likes and preferences. His recommendations are spot on (including one winery we chose even though he suggested it may be too commercialized for our liking and he was so right!) so you can definitely trust his input when picking which wineries to visit. Barak is extremely personable, professional, and very knowledgeable about all aspects of wine—the history, geography, climate, and on and on. He picked the 4 of us up at the port terminal with waters for all. He was friendly and engaging from the get-go, with a very relaxing demeanor. He took a multitude of pictures and videos throughout the day to capture our experience so we could just concentrate on having fun. He provided so much interesting information and conversation was easy. And the lunch stop was a great chance to enjoy the delicious fare at a local small restaurant. Barak was such a fantastic and gracious host, I would definitely use his services again. He was so accommodating last minute, my sister and I had a great time! We went to Sonoma for lunch and a few tastings, having a driver was the best thing to do!
