We booked with Dom a day ahead. Really enjoyed his 3 hour tour. Even saw whales and a black bear! He is knowledgeable, responsive, and clearly enjoyed sharing what he does. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ketchikan Adventure Tours!

During our port visit to Ketchikan onboard the Royal Princess cruise ship 5/13/2019 my wife and I had the pleasure of having Dominic as our guide. Communication was excellent as he arranged to meet us outside Arctic Bar at Berth 2. We found him very friendly & courteous as we began our tour of the city, while he explained it's history and culture. We took a walk through a park near the salmon hatchery, saw some interesting totem poles, and then we ventured out in search of wildlife. Along the way we stopped at a beach that showed the inlet as he explained about the lands on the other side of the channel and how the school system in Alaska incorporates survival skills as part of their curriculum. We saw some otters, eagles and stopped by a nice waterfall during our tour. I would definitely recommend a good pair of sneakers or light boots (no sandals or flip-flops). He took us to several spots attempting to observe black bear activity and although they were elusive I was not disappointed at all with the chance to connect with Alaska nature and breathe it all in...we even bought some Salmon Berry jam to bring home with us along the way. I would highly recommend - Scott & Dana - Jacksonville, FL
