There is some upriver paddling so children under the age of 10 should be paired with an adult

Kayaks have a 300 pound weight limit. Tandem Kayaks 550 pounds. Paddleboards 225 pounds

What To Expect

Coldwater Excursions

Take in the sights as you are guided down Holmes Creek to a beautiful fresh water spring, Cypress Springs, in a canoe, kayak, or on a stand up paddle board (SUP), depending upon your preference. Your guide will be with you for the entire trip to set up and demonstrate all of the gear and to help you maximize your experience at Cypress Spring. Discover the best way to snorkel with an underwater scooter; it does all the work of swimming for you so you can take in the beauty below the surface and snorkel effortlessly. Document your experience with a GoPro, with mounts to tackle every job you won't miss a moment. Relax in luxury and let us do all the heavy lifting, packing, and setting up for you. Cypress springs was beautiful and having everything planned for you made the day stress free. We saw a baby gator on the kayak trip back which was really cool. We also saw a snake, lots of turtles, and a cool water bird.

Read the reviews before you go. IF you're prepared for an hour drive and back, and little flexibility to enjoy the scenic byways pictured, then this is a good value. But first you are taken to a lagoon with A LOT of people and you're basically stuck there for a period of time. If you enjoy large groups to people watch, it's great. If you really wanted to get along and enjoy that kayak trip out into the little "fingers" pictured here, not so much. That last part is what we really wanted to see/do and it was perhaps 30-45 min of the whole trip. The scenery, the water clarity is just as advertised. It just took way to long to enjoy it.

Awesome trip! We were hesitant because as we started it was raining, but by the time we arrived to the springs, the weather cleared! Anthony was our guide and he was terrific! Such a great young man, really engaged with everyone, made sure that everyone was having a great time. Water was so crystal clear and beautiful! It’s cold, yes, but well worth it to get in to snorkel. . Would absolutely do it again!
