We had an excellent visit March 3, 2016. Few people in the viewing tower area - excellent briefing from Burke in the elevator - and service from Ruhr Williamson at the kiosk where we had coffee. The views to the far horizon and the gleaming lines of structures contemporary and historic in downtown Dallas are more than worth the visit - with digital panels offering all the information any short-term visitor to Dallas might need. Perfect sunny if slightly breezy day made it an absolute delight.
We did not have trouble finding it... once we were there we had some time in the tower but were unable to go out on the Geo-Deck because they were setting up for a fireworks demonstration to be held that night. somewhat disappointing. But it was a nice view and the interactive displays were nice.
Awesome way to see the whole city. We were lucky as it was so clear we could see 30 miles out. They also have interactive maps that explain what you are seeing. I am scared to death of heights but it did not bother me at all inside and only a little when looking down when we were outside!
