For over 20 years we have provided the most unique and eco-friendly dolphin and whale watching trips to view magnificent Blue Whales, Gray Whales, Humpback Whales, Fin Whales, Minke Whales, and occasionally Orcas (Killer Whales), Pilot Whales, False Killer Whales, and more. Five species of wild dolphins are also seen throughout the year, including mega-pods with up to 10,000 dolphins! Plus sea lions, marine birds, and even sharks. You'll depart from Dana Point, home to one of the most diverse marine eco-systems in the world. What a fantastic experience! We are so glad we chose Capt. Dave's for this whale-watching trip. Christian and Michael were awesome and patiently tracked down a blue whale we saw fluking up close. They were very knowledgeable and delivered an unforgettable trip for us. Highly recommended. Don't forget to bring a hat and sunscreen.

Fantastic trip. Great watching, whale, dolphins, sea elephant, sting ray, and seals. Crew was great! Can't beat the brownies at the end of the cruze! Thanks

Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Loved the smaller catamaran. Relaxed atmosphere. Got up close to dolphin pods. Great price for such a wonderful adventure! Thank you Captain Christian and 1st mate Mike!
