For over 20 years we have provided the most unique and eco-friendly dolphin and whale watching trips to view magnificent Blue Whales, Gray Whales, Humpback Whales, Fin Whales, Minke Whales, and occasionally Orcas (Killer Whales), Pilot Whales, False Killer Whales, and more. Five species of wild dolphins are also seen throughout the year, including mega-pods with up to 10,000 dolphins! Plus sea lions, marine birds, and even sharks. Captain Chuck, Hannah, and Matthew were a great crew! While we didn't see any whales on this trip, the dolphin pods outside Dana Point harbor were awesome! The 1st thing we saw was a Mola Mola (sun fish), which we'd never heard of before!The viewing pod was very cool! It can be very cold and drizzly on the 8:00 am trip, so dress accordingly!

Crew was fantastic! Customer service was top notch!! An amazing experience for all of us, aged 4 to 64. I can't wait to do it again. Getting that close to a Blue Whale was an adventure of a lifetime. Thank you to everyone who made this possible at Capt. Dave's. See you soon.

We had an amazing experience with Captain Chuck, Hannah and Stacy. They overshot our return by an hour so that we could see two blue whales far out to sea. We literally had a three hour tour just so we could see blue whales. To see the largest creature on Earth was awe inspiring and they really went out of their way to make sure we saw it. My kids had an amazing adventure. We go on a whale watch with Captain Dave's at least one a year and we will be back. Most amazing trips!
