Five species of wild dolphins are also seen throughout the year, including mega-pods with up to 10,000 dolphins! Plus sea lions, marine birds, and even sharks. You'll depart from Dana Point, home to one of the most diverse marine eco-systems in the world. We had a fabulous time watching a huge pod of dolphins. Capts Chuck and Buck clearly love their jobs and treat the animals with the utmost respect while giving us spectacular views.The underwater viewing area in the pontoon of the catamaran is so much fun. I will definitely be returning to Captain Dave’s again.

My husband and I went out and had the opportunity to sail alongside a pod of dolphins. It was incredible. Our guides were very knowledgeable and overall, we had a wonderful time.
