For over 20 years we have provided the most unique and eco-friendly dolphin and whale watching trips to view magnificent Blue Whales, Gray Whales, Humpback Whales, Fin Whales, Minke Whales, and occasionally Orcas (Killer Whales), Pilot Whales, False Killer Whales, and more. Five species of wild dolphins are also seen throughout the year, including mega-pods with up to 10,000 dolphins! Plus sea lions, marine birds, and even sharks. You'll depart from Dana Point, home to one of the most diverse marine eco-systems in the world. Really enjoyed the Manute'A Dolphin Safari. Quite chilly but very nice. Capt Maria was great. Caitlyn was great and a pleasure to talk with. Janelle was great too! Love her octopus boots! Will definitely do again.....and maybe get to see some whales!

My overall experience with Capt. Dave's Dolphin and Whale Watching was stellar. The reception was amiable, cordial, and professional. The lady in charge at the reception provided clear directions (since I arrived almost at the last minute) on how to get into the boat. The boat captain patiently waited and welcomed me. Since I went to this event all by myself, I was not surprised that the rest came in a group. Moreover, I observed that I was the ONLY PERSON of COLOR (Filipino) amongst my Caucasian brothers and sisters, and the overall ambiance, stance, and attitude of crews and passengers were exceedingly civil, respectful, accepting, and decent. I had close encounters with pods of penguins but I didn't get to meet my dream love - whales particularly the Orcas.
