Five species of wild dolphins are also seen throughout the year, including mega-pods with up to 10,000 dolphins! Plus sea lions, marine birds, and even sharks. While visiting relatives in southern California, my wife and I decided to do this tour.The company is very proffesionally run and the staff very courteous. The tour last approx. 2.5 hours and the crew was very informative and educational about the wildlife we may encounter.We did see many Dolphins and a Minke Whale.A few tips here dress accordingly as it was approx. 12-15 degress cooler on the water.Also bear in mind this isnt Seaworld or a zoo with guaranteed results, but the crew works very hard to find whales and dolphins and i would believe they have a very high degree of success . I would gladly take this tour again given the opportunity, Thanks again Capt. Dave and crew, J . Coleman

This has been our third experience with Captain Dave's. Spent about 1/2 hour today watching a humpback whale. What a great experience. Also saw a ton of dolphins. These people never miss. Looking forward to bringing our whole family back on June. Thank you for another great time.

Captain Marie was amazing, she worked very hard to find the dolphins and even extended our trip a bit to find a pod of over 100+. This was a dream come true for my 12 year old daughter, something she's had on her bucket list forever. She had tears of joy seeing the dolphins so close, a memory she'll have forever. Thank you!
