For over 20 years we have provided the most unique and eco-friendly dolphin and whale watching trips to view magnificent Blue Whales, Gray Whales, Humpback Whales, Fin Whales, Minke Whales, and occasionally Orcas (Killer Whales), Pilot Whales, False Killer Whales, and more. Five species of wild dolphins are also seen throughout the year, including mega-pods with up to 10,000 dolphins! Plus sea lions, marine birds, and even sharks. We had a great time on our whale watching ride! Staff was great. Very knowledgeable and wanted to make sure everyone saw a whale. And the brownies were a great bonus! Saw 3 gray whales, sea lions, and common dolphins...even a baby dolphin. Great trip!!!

Let's start with the crew. From the welcoming woman who took our reservation at the dock, everyone was knowledgeable and kind. On board, the captain(s) who made up our crew pointed out various types of marine life we spotted, and had bits of trivia about each. They also slowed down the boat to spear pieces of garbage out of the ocean, which we found admirable. We spotted sea lions, Pacific Whiteside dolphins, and four(!) finwhales. One of those finwhales was bigger than our 60ft boat. They got closer to us than we would have approached them, so the captain shut the engine off, and we let the whales dictate the encounter. Truly a special experience. The length of the trip- appx 2.5 hours- was perfect, and well worth the cost. There was also a photo collage of our specific excursion available for purchase; the crewman who took the photos did a magnificent job. I would go whale watching with Captain Dave's again.

The ocean is pretty big, wish we would have seen a couple more whales, the trip was worth it, and the underwater viewing capsule is pretty neat...
