Went on this tour with Doreen and I echo all the good things said about her in other reviews - friendly, knowledgeable and always ready for questions. While the tour was good, I was caught off guard by the size of the boat (on the smaller side) and lack of enclosed places to hide from the wind. So bring a jacket and be prepared to get a little wet if you sit in the front. Also, if you have back or neck issues, you should know that you may encounter some rough water.

Our captain was awesome, the boat ride was amazing. We got to see a lot of dolphins and the kids absolutely loved the tubing!! Our little one even caught a fish!

Took this tour in Aprilā€™21. Captain Doreen was our guide. Tour was very interesting and Doreen made it a lot of fun as well. Learning the history of Daufuskie Island and its inhabitants was fascinating. Learning about indigo and how itā€™s processed into dye was one of the trip highlights. Another was visiting the small school where Pat Conroy taught and based his book The River is Wide. I would highly recommend.
