Captain Pete is fantastic. Even though ā€œfrom a farā€, his 30 plus years on the scene here gives him a great perspective on the area, history, and cultural struggles. He is a great story teller, encyclopedia of historical fact and popular cultural knowledge. He paced the tour to the group and made it a particularly fun time. No stress, easy walking, and plenty of stops for a walkabout. We didnā€™t have young kids, but no doubt Pete would go into Grandpa mode and make it fun for all.

Captain Pete was a great guide. The trip does not involve a lot of walking ( rather minimal ) so even sedentary people can enjoy it. A short and impressive history lesson, highly recommended for people who like nature and history.
