This was one of the most exciting, informative, and culturally inspiring adventures of all times. Pete is a walking encyclopedia. He is truly blessed. We'll be bringing the whole family back to learn of this heritage. Thank you.

We signed up the night before, and had a great morning Daufuskie tour with Pete. We were the only two on the tour, on a small boat. The ride to the island was fun and informative. Pete told stories, and stopped a few times to point out things on shore and on the water, including dolphins and an osprey. As we toured the island on a golf cart Pete told us about properties, history, natural features, some island personalities, and a couple of craft studios. I think Pete has a real appreciation for the people and history of Daufuskie, It was a hot day! The morning actually was long enough to learn a lot, enjoy, and get back to Shelter Cove before It got above 95!

Thank you for the recommendation. Captain Pete certainly has a wealth of knowledge about both the low country water ways and the history of Daufuskie Island. Sounds like you had a fun and educational experience with us. We look forward to getting outside with you again!

Andy was awesome very knowledgeable. This is a must see tour so much history for one little island! Never heard of Island before and the Gullah people. The indigo process is very interesting. Bonus is a lot of dolphins on boat ride too.
