Nice tour but overpriced. Captain Pete is great. We had booked the tour based on TripAdvisor reviews. Again, nice tour but all that your money gets you is the boat ride to the island and a guided golf cart tour by Captain Pete telling you about some of the locals and the history. We were a family of four. Not worth the money in my opinion.

We appreciate your feedback and apologize that the trip did not meet your expectations. Over the past 20 years, this trip has developed into an educational experience for our guests. The Daufuskie Island tour provides background on the history and culture of the island with a direct focus on the native Gullah populations and artisans that call it home. At Outside, we believe and strive to provide excellent value for all our programs. We value your feedback and thank you for taking the time to help us grow.

My favorite part was the wealth of knowledge provided by Captain Pete in a fun and interesting way. The island of course was beautiful. Bring a rain poncho as the storms come up without warning. Seeing an eagle up close was a treat and the dolphins were fun.

Thank you for your feed back. Captain Pete certainly knows his way around Daufuskie alongside with both the history and ecological knowledge of the low country. We are happy to hear you had such a wonderful afternoon exploring with us. Thank you for choosing Outside!

We took the tour with Captain Pete Saturday Sept 5th and it was so educational and enjoyable. Captain Pete is so knowledgeable about the Gullah way of life and had the answer to every question presented. My favorite part was getting to meet Ms. Sallie and she was even gracious enough to let us take pictures with her! It started raining on our way back and Captain Pete got us back safely and his calmness helped us stay calm as well. We will definitely take this tour again with Captain Pete and bring our children as well. Outstanding!
