We had a delightful tour with Captain Pete (parents and adult daughter). We enjoyed seeing dolphins on the boat ride over, and the rare white pelicans on the way back. On the island we enjoyed seeing the historic sights and visiting an indigo dyer, wine maker, potter and metal worker. The best part was hearing about the history of the island and what it’s like to live there now. A lovely half day trip! Highly recommend for tourists looking to get off the beaten track!

If you get a chance you should visit Daufuskie Island! The history and culture is amazing. If you go please make sure you get Capt Pete. The guy is like a walking encyclopedia. Great trip for all ages!! Thumbs up and I would do it again tomorrow. Steve

Terrific boat ride and historical tour by Captain Pete. Will recommend to others. We loved the historical side coupled with the authors who have written about the island.
