There were 7 of us on the boat tour to Daufuskie Island. We had a great guide, Captain Pete, who was a walking encyclopaedia, with so much knowledge and interesting stories of the people and societal times on the island, as well as describing the oyster beds nearby. Very interesting and well worth while. A highlight for all of us on the trip.

"A highlight for all of us on the trip". Captain Pete is the greatest with so much knowledge of Daufuskie and the surrounding ecosystem. Love, love that it was one of the best parts of your trip. Can't wait to get you back out on the water again. Abby, PR Manager [email protected]

We got really lucky on this tour, and had both Captain J.O., who grew up on Daufuskie & was able to tell us about his experience living there, and Captain Pete, who has great knowledge of the area, as well as literature and history, and is clearly passionate about it. We brought our 7 year old, and she loved it too! It started with the boat ride to Daufuskie, where we saw lots and lots of dolphins. The golf cart tour was a fun way to see the island, and we learned a lot about the area, the history, the people & culture. It really was fascinating. We also got to stop in at several shops, meet the artists, and even taste some wine. If you stop at the coffee shop, try the lemon cake - it's delicious. Just a note - depending on recent weather, the roads could be very dusty, and you might want to bring some bug spray. Overall, we all had a great time & highly recommend this tour.

"Highly recommend this tour"! We appreciate that, delenad. So glad the whole family enjoyed the experience. You won the jackpot with both Captain JO and Captain Pete taking you out on the water. We love Daufuskie days. Thanks for the 5 stars and join us again soon. Abby, PR Manager [email protected]

A day not soon forgotten spent traveling to and around Daufuskie Island. We enjoyed every minute of our day on the water and on the island touring with Capt Pete learning about its incredible history and Gullah culture. Clearly a super experienced boatsman and lover of this area for over 35 years, we were in great hands to tour beautiful and unique Daufuskie. What an AMAZING day - even our 18 year old daughter enjoyed it - calling it an ā€œadventureā€. We all definitely agreed!

Captain Pete loved having you aboard and touring Daufuskie. He's a great storyteller and local historian with so much local knowledge to share. We're thrilled the whole family enjoyed the trip and look forward to your next excursion with OUTSIDE. Abby, PR Manager [email protected]
