What To Expect

Grand Traverse Bay

Enjoy a beautiful sail on a 63-ft schooner around the Grand Traverse Bay. This family-friendly sail includes locally-sourced food and drinks. Help raise the sails and sit at the helm while you learn about the natural and cultural history of the region. You are pampered by the captain and crew while you relax and take in the amazing colors of the water, feel the wind on your skin and taste the food and drink fresh from the farms and shops of the area.

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing 3 hour sail on the Wind Dancer. We were treated royally by the crew. Our captain, Jason, was skilled and informative. His crew, Mark, Audrey and Michelle were friendly, helpful and professional. It was lovely to sail across Grand Traverse Bay while eating delicious locally sourced food from bakers, farmers, cheese makers and chocolatiers. ( The fresh strawberries were amazing.) This experience should appeal to a wide audience.

Excellent trip! The crew was awesome, the food was super tasty, and there were lots of drink options! We lucked out with absolutely gorgeous weather for our sail. Best part of our short trip to TC and would definitely recommend.
