Leavenworth is a Bavarian-styled village in the Cascade Mountains, in Central Washington State where German influence reigns supreme, with classic Bavarian architecture, charming gift shops, and authentic German pubs and restaurants. Ancient forests merge with desert landscapes from the ice ages in Central Washington, where Leavenworth is tucked away in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. On your private day trip to Leavenworth, you will be charmed by the Alpine-style buildings with restaurants serving German beer, and enjoy a walking tour through its many locally sourced shops, including a fantastic cheesemonger. Your guide will give you plenty of recommendations on where to wine and dine; a wine tasting at a tasting room is included in the private tour, but meals are not. You'll return to Seattle around 6 pm after your private walking tour, which lasts between 7-9 hours.

Rem was a great guide who made the drive pass quickly with great conversation and interesting information about the local area. Leavenworth was low key and fun. We wished we had more time to take an innertube down the river for an hour or two!
