Charleston City Market

You have some free time after your carriage tour to browse the City Market which is four blocks long. There are many vendors that sell local arts and crafts.

Fort Sumter National Monument

We are the ONLY tour company in Myrtle Beach that actually tours INSIDE Fort Sumter. You get a guided tour of this historic fort, best known for the "First Shot of the Civil War". This tour also includes a Boat Tour of Charleston Harbor. You will be served a box lunch on the tour boat.

Boone Hall Plantation

This is the Most Photographed Plantation in America. You get a guided house tour, a tour of the original slave cabins and much more.

We enjoyed our day. I did feel a bit rushed at times. I would have liked a bit more time to spend shopping. Our tour guide was great at keeping us on schedule. BRING COLD DRINKS. It was a very hot day. I suggest that you bring a small cooler to have ice cold drinks available for yourself. Drinks I purchased were not cold.

First, our bus driver was great. The carriage ride was very informative. Absolutely loved seeing the houses, and heard about some great restaurants. The boat ride over to Fort Sumter was beautiful, and we enjoyed hearing the history behind it. The box lunch was a nice addition to the day. The plantation tour was also wonderful. The best part about the trip was the variety of experiences this tour offered-everything we were looking for in a trip to Charlotte. Glad we had some time to shop in the market. My suggestion to the shoppers on the tour is to shop before you buy. I found prices really varied from booth to booth. The trip was well planned out, and thankfully all of the passengers (almost 50) were on time for pick ups. That made the day flow beautifully. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a day trip to Charlotte from Myrtle Beach. The AC on the bus, and the fact that someone else did the driving was priceless.

Trip was great. Long day. But we enjoyed it. Only wish we had time ro go on the train ride in Boone plantation.
