Charleston City Market

You have some free time after your carriage tour to browse the City Market which is four blocks long. There are many vendors that sell local arts and crafts.

Fort Sumter National Monument

We are the ONLY tour company in Myrtle Beach that actually tours INSIDE Fort Sumter. You get a guided tour of this historic fort, best known for the "First Shot of the Civil War". This tour also includes a Boat Tour of Charleston Harbor. You will be served a box lunch on the tour boat.

Boone Hall Plantation

This is the Most Photographed Plantation in America. You get a guided house tour, a tour of the original slave cabins and much more.

Enjoyable, well organized. I took my 15 yr old twin granddaughters who both had a great time. We were stain Myrtle Beach and this was a great day trip

It is a LONG Day but very interesting. Lots of walking on uneven ground so wear sturdy shoes. Our driver was Wendy and she did a great job maneuvering the bus and we felt safe with her driving. We did not do the carriage tour but the bus tour in air conditioning was pleasant and we got to see and hear about historic area of Charleston. The box lunch provided was adequate. Sub sandwich with one slice of turkey..Mostly lettuce and a tomato. At this time there is no elevator at Ft. Sumter so being able to get up to the museum/ gift shop/ bathrooms/ observation deck would not be possible if you can not do multiple stairs > 40. When it came to making the decision as to Boone Plantation or the ship- suggest you do not base your decision on house tour. The house tour only took to 3 rooms- library, dining room, and outside patio- no indoor pictures allowed. BIG disappointment. The grounds are beautiful but maybe taking the Tractor tour might be the better option. Trip started at 6:45 am at Ripley’s Aquarium and returned at 7 pm. Our group was always on time for all departures which is of utmost importance to keep the tour on time. We are grateful for all of our travel companions on June 7, 2022 for being a great group!
