Charleston City Market

You have some free time after your carriage tour to browse the City Market which is four blocks long. There are many vendors that sell local arts and crafts.

Fort Sumter National Monument

We are the ONLY tour company in Myrtle Beach that actually tours INSIDE Fort Sumter. You get a guided tour of this historic fort, best known for the "First Shot of the Civil War". This tour also includes a Boat Tour of Charleston Harbor. You will be served a box lunch on the tour boat.

Boone Hall Plantation

This is the Most Photographed Plantation in America. You get a guided house tour, a tour of the original slave cabins and much more.

The history of Charleston was amazing. The carriage ride was great and full of information, as was the boone plantation and fort sumter.

It was easy and efficient setting up the trip, the communication regarding where we would be picked up by the bus was good, the clear instructions/directions by Wendy the bus driver was appreciated, the knowledge and sense of humor of Richard the carriage driver were great, and everything ran perfectly on time. Can't ask for more!

Great trip; very well timed so that we did not feel rushed but also were able to get sufficient time at each attraction. The visit to Ft Sumter was most instructive and absolutely a feature of trip #7. Also, because we were one of the earlier carriage tours, the market wasn't as crowded as it is later in the day. The only negative is the box lunch that is provided; given the cost of the trip a nicer box lunch should be provided. No name turkey on white bread (think, wonder bread) and no name look-alike Oreo cookies doesn't cut it. I would recommend bringing your own lunch and snacks. However, other than the lunch, this is an excellent trip.
