Charleston City Market

You have some free time after your carriage tour to browse the City Market which is four blocks long. There are many vendors that sell local arts and crafts.

Fort Sumter National Monument

We are the ONLY tour company in Myrtle Beach that actually tours INSIDE Fort Sumter. You get a guided tour of this historic fort, best known for the "First Shot of the Civil War". This tour also includes a Boat Tour of Charleston Harbor. You will be served a box lunch on the tour boat.

Boone Hall Plantation

This is the Most Photographed Plantation in America. You get a guided house tour, a tour of the original slave cabins and much more.

The guide on the boat trip to Ft. Sumter was very informative; Driving up the main road to Boone Plantation was just like you see in the movies.

The lunch was horrible but it was a box lunch and knew that would be the case. I'm not a fan that's why we went to a restaurant on our free time to mill about. I was excited to go see the history and be on the boat to the island where the fort is which was amazing but we spent a lot of time on the bus the bus was late picking us up. Handicapped people slowed us down and since we got behind and Fort Sumter ran long so being at the plantation was rushed no real tour happened and was overall not a great experience. The siteseeing tour and the history given was great very wise and informative driver. I would be open to doing it again because it wasn't all bad and some of these things like dealing with Handicapped people and trying to be inclusive to everyone is not the fault of the tour company and activities that run long isn't their fault either.

So much to see and do! A great overview, but definitely not enough time to do in depth exploration. That's what makes a trip like this great. You learn where you really want to go back and spend more time.
