Outside of the convenience of Hotel pick-up and return, we thoroughly enjoyed the narrated bus tour of the city and its famous and infamous locations and buildings! Richard, tour guide, has a wealth of knowledge of the area and was only too happy to share it. Visiting 4 different venues in one day does not give one much extra time to dwell at each location, but I feel we saw the important highlights and came away richer for it. Wendy is a very capable bus driver who safely and considerately transported us.

This was one of the best long tours we have ever taken. Let me start at the top with Windy, our driver. She a most capable driver, navigating the bus through many very narrow roads, construction, and heavy traffic and returning in darkness bringing all of us safely back to our hotels. We all enjoyed her company, a very lovely lady. She is a star for her company! Our driver in Charleston, Richard was equally as professional and knowledgeable, maneuvering our tour bus through the narrow confines of old Charleston meanwhile giving very interesting commentary on the places of interest and the history of the city. Our last tour was Boone Plantation. All enjoyed our docent, John, and his humor. Would have liked seeing more of the house, but the house and the outlining buildings would have taken most of our day. In all, the tour provided a great understanding of old Charleston, plantation life, and the significance of Fort Sumpter. It was a great tour and we think all of us greatly appreciated our guidesā€™ knowledge, skills, and overall professionalism. We would highly recommend to anyone outside of Charleston to take this tour. Scott and Carol Blankinship Arlington, VA
