Nice way to see various parts of downtown and learn more about Charleston’s rich history. Our tour guide was great and knowledgeable. Make sure to grab a booze pop on your way over, or a water and snacks at their store in the stables. It can get a little hot on some streets. However, we lucked out with beautiful weather which made the ride even better. Interesting fact: All of the carriages in the city have to stop at a little hut and check in before heading out. At check in they have a lotto system which provides the tour guide with his allowed zone. We got 1A. This is done to regulate the areas, traffic control, and make sure there’s not too many tours in one area. Makes it an adventure!!!
