I wish we also had gone down Rainbow Road. We had to drive there after the carriage ride and it was very close.

We had a fun time on the carriage ride around downtown. The guide was knowledgeable and fun. There were 5 options to get for the tour, and the lot we fell on was the one going by the four corners of law - something worth knowing about when you visit. The houses were amazing, the history splendidly told and thankfully the weather cooperated and we had great temps for the day. Total time was about an hour. The guide gave us several tips on where to go and see after the tour as well. We were also able to see the bay as well during the tour. We literally walked right up to the ticket booth and found 4 seats on the next tour. Have no idea if that's normal or not, but over the 4th, we expected a wait for sure. The place is on a little side street -so make sure you follow MapQuest well. You can enter from the front or the back of the facility. They had plenty of water to sell you if you forget and it's hot and two public RR's inside as well. Parking was a little bit of a chore, as we ended up parking about 4 or 5 blocks away in paid public covered parking but it was worth it overall since we did many other things while downtown.
