We had a great experience with Palmetto Carriage Works. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions we had. Booking online was also very convenient, and our tour was right on schedule. If you ever want to learn more about Charleston or enjoy carriage rides, I would recommend this company!

This is by far the best customer service and tour we have taken. Our morning started out bad with a horrible employee in the parking area, but after we started the tour our day became better. The employees went above and beyond to apologize for the lady in the parking lot. We waited in the Big red barn until they called our name in order of reservation. Our guide was hands down the most professional guide I have ever had in any tour we have take before. He mixed in with the right amount of humor with the history of the sights that we have seen. Let us ask questions and you could tell he knew what he was talking about. He grew up in Charleston so that was a plus, he knew a lot of the ins and outs. I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to have a good and fun time to learn about the history of Charlestown. I was also pleased with the way the horses were treated. I have a dog and to me he is family and you could tell they feel the same way about the horses. We will for sure be back next year when we are in the area. Perfect 10 for us.!!

Our driver/narrator, Scott, was excellent. He was knowledgeable about Charleston and its history. He provided just the right balance of historical facts and down home humor. We learned a lot about Charleston without effort. He made recommendations for our consideration as we continue to tour. All in all, an excellent time and well worth the fee.
