We had one day to drive in from Edisto to see Charleston and this tour seemed a great way to do it. Riding on the carriage was fun, smoother than we expected. The driver, Weston, was entertaining and informative and the weather couldn’t have been better. The staff at the red barn were friendly and helpful with recommendations for lunch and other questions. Booking online was easy and provided other add-ones like all-day parking and combo options like the harbor tour which helped make our day complete and fun.

This is a must do event in Charleston, especially if you are pressed for time and want a little history of the city. Our driver was Van and he is exceptional. He grew up in Charleston, so he really knows his stuff. Super informative, very funny, and really great with all the people. It was such a treat and Charleston is such a magnificent city, this is definitely worth doing. Prices are very reasonable and carriages are comfortable.

Great guide. A microphone may have made it easier on his voice. Good history lesson! One hour is just right.
