Boat ride of Potomac River is seasonal (March 26 - October 16). When the boat is not operating, you will visit the Jefferson Memorial and Eisenhower Memorial instead
There will be standing and walking during this tour. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as much of the tour is outdoors. DC can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Umbrellas and layers are recommended.

You will see the outside of the White House.

Jefferson Memorial

You will visit the Jefferson Memorial ONLY during the winter months when the seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is not operating.

Lincoln Memorial

You will walk up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

You will get to see the Vietnam Veteran's Wall with all the history and view the names.

Vietnam Women's Memorial

A stop which pays homage to our Women in Vietnam.

U.S. Capitol

Visit the outside of our US Capitol.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial

One of our newest and most liked Memorials.

National World War II Memorial

You will want to take lots of pictures at this memorial. Lots of gorgeous fountains.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial

You will love this memorial which pays homage to one of our most famous people that fought for our rights, Martin Luther King, Jr.

Potomac River

Seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is also included with your tour (seasonally, approximately April - mid October). During the months the ferry is not operating, you will be able to visit Jefferson Memorial and Eisenhower Memorial instead.

Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial

You will visit the Eisenhower Memorial ONLY during the winter months when the seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is not operating.

The tour and the guide were great. The only disappointment was the fact that we were picked up at our hotel but had to find our own way back. We were expecting a pick up AND drop off.

Tour guide was excellent and bus driver was great. I gave 4 star rating instead of 5 because they canceled the Potomac river ride because there was light rain-should not have affected a boat ride. Weather after lunch was good-which is when the boat ride was to take place. I would have done the 3 hour tour instead of the 6 hour tour had I known the boat ride would be canceled.

The boat ride was actually cancelled by our third party partner due to a combination of the weather and a short-term mechanical problem, but we can appreciate why you were sorry to miss it. We spent 6 days around the DC area and have to say this tour was a highlight for us! We did the nighttime tour and “Cousin April” was our guide. She was so much fun! I learned so much on this tour with her! She was engaging, knowledgeable, and funny! Her interactions with a bus full of passengers somehow managed to break the ice for us all, which made interacting with the other guests easier and it felt more like we were all in this together and not complete strangers, if that makes any sense. She made us all “cousins”, as she called us. LOL! I just loved her! I felt like the stops were just right with how many there were and how long we stopped for. They also provided water for us. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone spending time in the DC area!
