There will be standing and walking during this tour. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as much of the tour is outdoors. DC can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Umbrellas and layers are recommended.

You will see the outside of the White House.

Jefferson Memorial

You will visit the Jefferson Memorial ONLY during the winter months when the seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is not operating.

Lincoln Memorial

You will walk up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

You will get to see the Vietnam Veteran's Wall with all the history and view the names.

Vietnam Women's Memorial

A stop which pays homage to our Women in Vietnam.

U.S. Capitol

Visit the outside of our US Capitol.

National World War II Memorial

You will want to take lots of pictures at this memorial. Lots of gorgeous fountains.

Potomac River

Seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is also included with your tour (seasonally, approximately April - mid October). During the months the ferry is not operating, you will be able to visit Jefferson Memorial and Eisenhower Memorial instead.

Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial

You will visit the Eisenhower Memorial ONLY during the winter months when the seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is not operating.

We were on a 6 hour tour with Tyrone. He gave us a great tours and was very informative and attentive to any need we could have had. Totally enjoyable!

The tour consisted of a half day and full day tour. We were on the half day and our last stop was at the Vietnam War memorial. We were told by Dwayne we could leave our stuff on the bus and collect it before the tour continued. We arrived back to the bus just before 2pm (were told to be there for 2pm) so we were not late. The bus drove away before we could get on to get our bag. I then (aged 60) had to run 2 blocks in 30 degree heat to catch him, luckily either the driver or another passenger saw me and he pulled in to wait for me. It might have been a better option to ask people to take all their belongings when leaving the bus instead of promising he would wait for us. The end of our tour spoiled an otherwise great first morning in Washington

We took the 3 hour morning tour. It was excellent value for money, smoothly organised to maximize the available time without a wasted minute and managing to incorporate visits to the most iconic monuments/sights that a tour of such length would allow. The bus was modern, clean and perfectly suited for the tour, with good A/c.Free iced water also provided. Guide was very experienced, knowledgeable and patient and we must thank the driver also. Departure for the tour was punctual and even though it became obvious that we were going to overrun slightly there was no hassle to speed things up to make up for lost time. Thanks to Signature Tours.
