This was my first trip to DC when I had the day to myself. I took the 3 hour morning tour and it was a perfect way to see all the top monuments and memorials without committing to a whole day. The bus was clean and the driver was good. The guide was great- very efficient with historical and factual information without some of the joking and ice breaker stuff that sometimes happens in these tours. We started on time and ended on time. We saw alot on the bus, but had an opportunity to step off for pictures outside the Capitol Building, White House, WWII Memorial, Roosevelt Memorial, MLK Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and the Vietnam Memorial. This was the perfect trip to pack in alot of sites and info in a short amount of time.

I just got back from my first visit to DC. Not only did I only have 3 days to explore, I'm not one to follow touristy attractions, but since I really wanted to see ALL of DC, I searched on Trip Advisor and found this one, primarily because I didn't want to spend the whole day on a bus for 6-8 hours. They had a 3 hour tour that took you to all the places you wanted to see while your in DC. I tend to have the worse experience with directions and getting lost. So, I did show up 45 minutes early, only to find myself on the wrong side of the Achieves Museum. Once I asked a security guard where tour busses get picked up, I did see a clean white bus parked by itself. Larry, the bus driver happily and kindly said this was the one. Our tour guide Tyrone was amazinnnnggggg!!! A walking/talking encyclopedia that knows his history. There was only 12 of us on the bus, so it made it easy to all get back on the bus and go on our way to be on time. The weather was great, so it was nice for us to walk to the monuments without having to feel cold or wet. My favorite part of the tour was the last part of the trip and by far breathtaking Lincoln Memorial. It was sooo worth it and I'm glad I saw all the monuments I wanted to see.
