There will be standing and walking during this tour. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as much of the tour is outdoors. DC can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Umbrellas and layers are recommended.

Jefferson Memorial

You will visit the Jefferson Memorial ONLY during the winter months when the seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is not operating.

Lincoln Memorial

You will walk up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

You will get to see the Vietnam Veteran's Wall with all the history and view the names.

Vietnam Women's Memorial

A stop which pays homage to our Women in Vietnam.

U.S. Capitol

Visit the outside of our US Capitol.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial

One of our newest and most liked Memorials.

National World War II Memorial

You will want to take lots of pictures at this memorial. Lots of gorgeous fountains.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial

You will love this memorial which pays homage to one of our most famous people that fought for our rights, Martin Luther King, Jr.

Potomac River

Seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is also included with your tour (seasonally, approximately April - mid October). During the months the ferry is not operating, you will be able to visit Jefferson Memorial and Eisenhower Memorial instead.

Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial

You will visit the Eisenhower Memorial ONLY during the winter months when the seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is not operating.

Liam and Edgar did a great job in showing us around our first trip to DC.

We took the 6 hr tour and found the pace to be a bit hectic. Understanding that we were doing a lot in a short time, it made the quick visit to each site acceptable. More than anything, it whet our appetite to learn more.

Liam found a good balance between sharing relevant information and letting us experience each site on our own. Edgar greeted us when when we showed up 30 minutes early and let us sit in the warm bus on what was a chilly breezy day.

This was a good introduction to DC for a first visit. If you have been here before, you might want to consider a more in depth tour experience.

This is a fantastic way to see the monuments with interpretation along the way. The information given had both depth and breadth. My daughter 10 and I both really enjoyed it. Our guide and driver were excellent.

This would have been the perfect tour had the weather not been so horrible. It was a very cold, very windy, rainy day. Liam, our guide was a very knowledgeable, friendly guy. Since the weather was so bad, we waited for late comers, which I thought was so accommodating. I took the 3 hour tour, which covered many of the monuments. I would definitely recommend this trip, especially in good weather. Liam told us the tour goes on even if just one person registers.
