There will be standing and walking during this tour. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as much of the tour is outdoors. DC can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Umbrellas and layers are recommended.

You will see the outside of the White House.

Jefferson Memorial

You will visit the Jefferson Memorial ONLY during the winter months when the seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is not operating.

Lincoln Memorial

You will walk up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

You will get to see the Vietnam Veteran's Wall with all the history and view the names.

Vietnam Women's Memorial

A stop which pays homage to our Women in Vietnam.

U.S. Capitol

Visit the outside of our US Capitol.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial

One of our newest and most liked Memorials.

National World War II Memorial

You will want to take lots of pictures at this memorial. Lots of gorgeous fountains.

Potomac River

Seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is also included with your tour (seasonally, approximately April - mid October). During the months the ferry is not operating, you will be able to visit Jefferson Memorial and Eisenhower Memorial instead.

Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial

You will visit the Eisenhower Memorial ONLY during the winter months when the seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is not operating.

This tour was really good! We chose the 3-hour tour and it took us to all the most 'important' sights. I would definitely recommend it :)

I would highly recommend this nighttime tour of DC. Seeing the monuments for the very first time as my kids did this past week illuminated is absolutely the way to go! Dwayne was incredibly knowledgeable about all things DC which really made the tour that much more special. The only critique that I have is that there didn't seem to be enough time to experience all the monuments so perhaps they need to consider beginning the tour 30 minutes earlier? I realize that they time it along with when the monuments will be illuminated but the backside FDR, MLK, Iwo Jima felt very rushed.

Expected to visit too many memorials alone. General consensus of many of the travelers. Noticed other tour guides accompanied their guests whilst explaining. Given 15 mins at world war 2 monument. Other guides Explained sections We nearly missed the stars.
Guide spoke fast. Difficult following.
