Boat ride of Potomac River is seasonal (March 26 - October 16). When the boat is not operating, you will visit the Jefferson Memorial and Eisenhower Memorial instead
There will be standing and walking during this tour. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as much of the tour is outdoors. DC can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Umbrellas and layers are recommended.

You will see the outside of the White House.

Jefferson Memorial

You will visit the Jefferson Memorial ONLY during the winter months when the seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is not operating.

Lincoln Memorial

You will walk up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

You will get to see the Vietnam Veteran's Wall with all the history and view the names.

Vietnam Women's Memorial

A stop which pays homage to our Women in Vietnam.

U.S. Capitol

Visit the outside of our US Capitol.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial

One of our newest and most liked Memorials.

National World War II Memorial

You will want to take lots of pictures at this memorial. Lots of gorgeous fountains.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial

You will love this memorial which pays homage to one of our most famous people that fought for our rights, Martin Luther King, Jr.

Potomac River

Seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is also included with your tour (seasonally, approximately April - mid October). During the months the ferry is not operating, you will be able to visit Jefferson Memorial and Eisenhower Memorial instead.

Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial

You will visit the Eisenhower Memorial ONLY during the winter months when the seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is not operating.

It was amazing. Both the guide and driver were helpful informative and kept things tight. The guide was a fountain of info. Left no stone unturned. At the end of the tour we knew everything possible about the capitol. Worth every penny and time.

The DC in a Day tour is a great tour and would have given it a 5 stars but Chris the bus driver was not very helpful when about 7 of us need use of restrooms upon arrival at 9:30 a.m.. Took alot of running around to locate restrooms. He said you will just have to wait till we stop at 11 a.m. Tyrone, our guide was great!

The tour guide David/Dave and driver Chris were the best. I love the fact they were so helpful and made sure to keep us entertained was so great. David/ Dave was very knowledgeable and always made sure to keep up with us. I would definitely use this tour again and would refer all that decide to do this bus tour. The places we got to see were so amazing and he really made everything come to life. They are really funny and made the whole experience go by smoothly. This is a 6 hour tour but did not feel like it.
