Boat ride of Potomac River is seasonal (March 26 - October 16). When the boat is not operating, you will visit the Jefferson Memorial and Eisenhower Memorial instead
There will be standing and walking during this tour. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as much of the tour is outdoors. DC can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Umbrellas and layers are recommended.

You will see the outside of the White House.

Jefferson Memorial

You will visit the Jefferson Memorial ONLY during the winter months when the seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is not operating.

Lincoln Memorial

You will walk up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

You will get to see the Vietnam Veteran's Wall with all the history and view the names.

Vietnam Women's Memorial

A stop which pays homage to our Women in Vietnam.

U.S. Capitol

Visit the outside of our US Capitol.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial

One of our newest and most liked Memorials.

National World War II Memorial

You will want to take lots of pictures at this memorial. Lots of gorgeous fountains.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial

You will love this memorial which pays homage to one of our most famous people that fought for our rights, Martin Luther King, Jr.

Potomac River

Seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is also included with your tour (seasonally, approximately April - mid October). During the months the ferry is not operating, you will be able to visit Jefferson Memorial and Eisenhower Memorial instead.

Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial

You will visit the Eisenhower Memorial ONLY during the winter months when the seasonal boat cruise of the Potomac River is not operating.

This was an excellent tour of some of the sites in Washington DC, and our guide Tyrone did a fantastic job with the delivery of information laced with humour! Even the lunch break was excellent with a good choice of restaurants. Perhaps a bigger boat would’ve have been preferable for the cruise but this did not detract from the enjoyment.

I really enjoyed the Martin Luther King Memorial. The tour guide named Nicholas was very funny, informative and extremely knowledgeable. The driver named Marcus was very accommodating ensuring the bus was not parked in the sun prior to us loading and pick up after touring the various attractions. Great job.

Dave and Kris were a great tour guide and driver team. We got the perfect amount of information for each stop without going overboard and stayed on time for each stop. It’s a lot of walking but definitely doable and enjoyable.
