Overview

Top Shot Sportfishing Charters has been in business and catching fish since 1975. As a second generation captain it is my goal to ensure you have an excellent adventure catching fish and having fun aboard a comfortable 52' Hatteras. Very little time is wasted traveling to the fishing grounds and just two miles from the inlet we are fishing in deep water and targeting big game. Relax inside the air conditioned cabin or join the excitement in the cockpit targeting fish. Additionally there is plenty of space on the vessel to join the captain on the bridge. Any edible fish you catch the crew will filet and bag for you to take home to eat. When you arrive every aspect of the fishing charter has been taken care of and the first mate will cast the lines and we are off to the fishing grounds. We want you to have fun and catch fish aboard a very nice and clean sportfishing charter boat in a relaxed and fun atmosphere where a professional crew will guide you when reeling in the big one.

Fishing had been slow for most fish, so we went to the depths to catch more of a sure bite. Caught some very small rose fish in 725’ of water and used an electric reel.

Fishing hadn’t been very good for a while, but Capt. Dave knew to go target bottom fish. We ended up catching around 12 Black Belly Rose fish, which appear to be a consistent catch when everything else is slow. They made for an excellent meal.

This was the most amazing experience. The captain (Dave) and first mate (Rusty) were amazing and made the trip awesome. We had an absolute blast, caught some hammerheads, and had good instruction and company while doing so. We will absolutely be scheduling another trip with them next time we come to Florida to fish!!! Highly recommend.
