Overview

Your Deluxe Manatee Swim Tour provides a unique opportunity to view Florida's Nature Coast. CRWS is a proud member of the Save the Manatee Club Guardian Guide Program - promoting passive observation and responsible eco tourism. Your tour will take you past a state Archaeological Park, a State Nature Preserve and to a National Wildlife Refuge. You may view up to 57 varieties of birds, river otters, deer, pigs dolphins, a variety of fish and turtles besides the opportunity to swim in the area of the gentle giants manatees.

Bring clothes to put on once done swimming that may get wet, but will keep you comfortable for the return boat ride.

Crystal Watersports and specifically Dakota and Cap'n Jeff were fantastic. My family had a great time and learned much about the manatees. If you're planning to be in the Tampa area, I strongly encourage you to take a tour. The equipment was great and the experience was awesome.

Excellent and friendly guides. Nice cruise up the river to find two manatees (out of season) and two others further along. Guides had a good sense of humour and the experience was wonderful. If you’re expecting keepsake photos with manatees, don’t get your hopes up too much. I didn’t buy the photos on the USB stick at $30 (of the cruise and snorkel) as I didn’t rate any of them to be honest. More care needs to be taken by the photographer to achieve a few good shots rather than 150 amateur ones. I can’t stress this enough as it’s a one-off experience that I have no photo of (with manatees). The company asked for feedback to improve their tour.

Excellent tour! Captain Stephanie and Dakota were very knowledgeable, informative and entertaining. Love that their primary concern is for the care and safety of the manatees.
