Denali ATV Trailblazer 3.5 Hour Tour

Overview
Get out and ride in the Alaskan Boreal Forest! Traveling at speeds up to 30 mph, maneuver through the taiga to picturesque panoramas of the Alaska Range. Observe glacial moraines and historic archaeological dig sites while navigating tree rutted trails, mountain-fed creek beds, and boggy tundra. Spend more time riding on the trail than any other Denali area off-road adventure tour. You may learn how to make fireweed tea, leave with a blueberry smile, or even chat about survival. Periodic stops are made for photography and wildlife sightings. Tackle the terrain in a single-rider ATV or share the thrill in a multi-passenger side-by-side ATV. Trails are challenging for all experience levels.  Total tour covers about 20 miles with 2½ hours on the trails.

Had an awesome time riding the side by sides back in AK back country. Bob was our bus driver and he was funny. Our guides where Jenny, Jeremiah, and Chelsea. All of which were really great. Taught us some things about the Park and the local area. However it says 3.5 hour trip. This does include the bus ride there and back. So you barely get 3 hours of actual trail time, but even with that being said. I’d do it again.

Just got back from our Girdwood and Denali trip and had an awesome time! We planned ahead of time and scheduled the Denali ATV Trailblazer 3.5 Hour Tour. We had so much fun! Total of four in our party, including one seven year old girl. We were picked up from our shuttle at McKinley Chalet and had a very informative ride up about general history of AK and of Denali on the way to the location. Only my nephew, who is 22 had been on an ATV before, but we were given clear instructions on how to drive them and made sure we were comfortable (with helmets and driving the atv's) before going on our tour. We enjoyed some amazing views, got great pics and videos, and even got group pics as Evan, Jeremiah, and Colton offered many times to take the pics for us. Every single employee was friendly, kind, and even made us laugh multiple times. So glad I chose to book the 3.5 tour. Didn't feel rushed at all. Definitely worth it and would recommend the tour and company to all.

Highly disappointed. Do not recommend, unless you want to speed across a creek bed and hear history of the area in Healy. The office worker, bus driver, and tour guides were all great at what they were supposed to do and super friendly, however that’s the only positive part of this trip for our group. If you’ve never seen back roads before or rode an ATV you might enjoy it, but for someone who lives in a rural area and has backroads all around them, all 4 in our party (2 Wolverines) hated it and regret wasting a day of vacation doing it, not to mention the money we wasted. We also own the exact same machine that we took out (Wolverine) and they most definitely do not have these adjusted for a comfortable ride like the machine has the ability to provide! The terrain is pretty rough and they fly through it (Our shuttle was about 15-20 minutes late, so this may not be typical, they might have been trying to make up time). We didn’t see a single kind of wildlife and i am not surprised because you are 1. Going so fast you don’t hardly have time to look, and 2. The sound of over a dozen engines revved up would scare any type of animal off. We did the 3.5 hour trailblazer and expected to go through wooded mountain areas and see wildlife but instead we got a 2hr max ride and went down and back up 3 short trails of which about half was on a creek bed that has no appeal. If they are going to charge what they do, they need to make the ride a full 2.5 hours like advertised, be in an area with more wildlife so you have a chance to actually see something, slow down and not try to race through the trails, and make some more trails so that you aren’t going to the end of one then coming back the same way, make it a loop so you can at least see different stuff. Overall, I would not recommend wasting your time (even if it was free) on this trip if you’ve ever seen the outdoors at all.
